Howdy. I am a photographer and filmmaker currently based in New Zealand. On a road trip several years ago I was able to see the west coast of the U.S. through the eyes of people who had never seen it before. I have been lucky to have grown up with the opportunity to explore much of it from a young age. My companions on this trip acted as my first real lens. They looked at my backyard with glee and bewilderment and awakened the kid in me who was constantly craning his neck on family trips in the west. Since that trip I have found gratitude and fulfillment in capturing glimpses of my life that has wandered and meandered abundantly over the years. These images have colored my daydreams on long drives and during even longer shifts. It stokes the fire for the next and keeps my eyes wide with child like wonder.

I have found immense satisfaction and joy in documenting adventure sports and concerts in recent years. I have learned that my favorite photo is a human experience in a beautiful setting. Chasing these moments has led me down memorable roads and cultivated lifelong relationships. My camera has become my most valuable passport.

I have spent the last year living and working in New Zealand as a freelancer and an in-house creative producer for a Wanaka based outdoor brand called Mons Royale.
